I Bless The Light

Created for my friend Joanna as a #RayOfFriendship as part of my Funaday Dundee project of the same name, this January.

“Joanna loves the outdoors. Born and raised on a farm, she always longed for a job in the great outdoors, tending to animals and working the land.

Living in the highlands, surrounded by hills and heather… the light shines BRIGHT from this girl.

Always has, and I’m sure the light grows stronger as the years go on.

Humour and laughter come natural to her. Kindness and warmth in equal measure. She’s a gem of a girl.

Like a yellowhammer, she brings a glint to the moorland, and flits between the fells providing sunshine, in all the ways.

Dreams do come true… and life holds promise, even in what may seem to be the darkest of times.
