This Is The Day… (Bullfinch taking flight above Norman’s Law Skyline Twig)

A fine art giclée print of an original Japanese watercolour and graphite pencil artwork I created of a male bullfinch taking flight above a lichen and moss covered twig, shaped to the skyline outline of Fife’s Norman’s Law.  The words “This Is The Day…” emblazoned across it.  The lyrics to the song, This Is The Day, by The The.  

Every year I create an ode to the year prior. This is my ode to the year 2024.  The song which sang through my mine over the days, and the words which inspired me.  The bird which seemed to appear before me the most, and hold my interest and imagination.  

Printed on 319gsm Hahnemühle Fine Art German etching paper. 12 x 12 inches in size.

This print is signed and dated in pencil on the front and titled on the rear. It will come unframed.

It will be packaged on heavy cardboard and wrapped in biodegradable clear envelope for protection, before being packaged into a firm corrugated cardboard envelope for postage.
