Memory Peewit

“Yesterday we saw a flock of lapwings… rising up from a field… a group of lapwings is called a ‘deceit’… but there was nothing dishonest about this rapture. Only truth, reality, and awe inspiring beauty.

I’ve spoken before, about how peewits remind me of my childhood. Nature projects and fields… I once saw a peewit in the field on the Big Hill at Tifty. Roadside and open to the elements. Oodles of tiny legs dangling from under its wings. Chicks kept safe under each side. Held tight… But I saw them. An image which has remained with me. Never have I seen this particular treasure again. A parents love.”
Printed on Hahnemühle 310gsm German etching paper. A4 in size 29.7 x 21 cm.

Comes unframed.

Hand signed in pencil and dated.

Title written in pencil on the back.

Packaged on hard cardboard and in a biodegradable clear envelope for protection. Posted in a corrugated cardboard envelope to ensure safe delivery.
