Seeking inspiration in clarity, from far away stars.. And darkness alike
-
Autumn made her think, of blue skies. The clearest. The brightest. So so blue.
Blue skies, with threads of silvery cloud stretching. In winding sinew; wisps & wishes. With fallen leaves and warmth from ground, complimentary to the cold air, and cool tones above.
Night skies of darkest ink blue, equalling in clarity to daylight hours. Starlight twinkling. Far away suns across light years in darkness held. Pin prick sparkles, from millennia outstretched.
They reach. They tease us, with meteoric possibilities. Sky flying and distant sunshines. Even on the coldest nights.
She sensed their warmth and they provided such comfort. The fact they exist, or existed… Just as she sees them. They’re there. So is she. In moment.
Yet clarity remained only in sky. Her head often clouded by worries. Nearby and up close. Some days it lifted, like haar receding from coastal reaches. The tides pulled by the same moon, as the nighttime she witnessed.
Grateful for those days, focus returning, and horizons, far aways, in relative touching distance. Brighter.
To shine, is not for us to always be able to see. To be of earth, and of sky, and of night, and of day…. All at once, but not all the time.
Clearly, but not always.
