Silver Lined were those Jaggiest of Nettles
-
As if with sparkling edges, and gentle frosted fronds. Stinging nettles in reverse silhouette, aglow.
Such beauty can be found, in the least expected places. I adore the noticings of life, the tiny details which may go unnoticed… the magic that lives, right before us.
I go through phases with different plants, different birds… where they seem to enthrall me… I see them all the more… the stinging nettle, the jaggy… a much maligned plant, in my littles opinions. Fear tied in, to be stung. To be sore.
And yet, the caterpillars love them so, and from then, the butterflies!
And on this day, lit up, as if enchanted.
Magic lives, for sure, in Glenlyon
(So glad to have visited, with my Dad by my side.
Love lives on. For always. A lifetime of memories.)
