My name is Jenna Martin Leitch and I’m an artist, illustrator and writer from Fife, Scotland.
My work is inspired by the treasures I find, in my everyday life and in the natural world. The joy they bring to me. The “happy” they make me feel.
I collect things; In my pockets, through my eyes, with my mind, and in my heart. The things we have lost. The things we have found. The sum of our parts. Through written word, drawn line, and painted hue; I make sure the magic is remembered and the JOY I FEEL is paid forward.
Yesterday! FIRST sale of the day, my new print “Taigh-Solais (Lighthouse and Moths)” A collector of my work snapped this up right as the day began! This fine art giclée print, from an original artwork in pigment fineliner, is a special one for me. About my Dad, his sailing days, and the fact he’s always been a beacon of safety and brightness in my life. Available in A3 or A4 sizes.
Yesterday! BEST seller of the day, my “Wide-Eyed Wonder” blank artists greeting card. A ‘Hoolet’ from an original mixed media work, on a glorious rich bright blue. A night-flyer and a caretaker of the dark. Bringing brightness to the wee small hours. Part of a growing collection about the wonders that exist in both the daylight and the moonlight.

There is a generosity of spirit that pervades and enlivens every blade of grass, every petal, every nook and leafy corner of @sconepalacegardenfair. Waking early this peaceful Sunday morning at home, I feel so full of a gentle joy, after two days being surrounded by the place and its people.
Scone is a place I’ve felt drawn to, and inspired by. A place where the organisers and visitors encourage and embrace my work. Come in to look at my display and study it with smiling eyes, taking in the intricate details. Gratefully, choosing to purchase pieces I have made.
Conversations of life and of loves. The magic that is intrinsic, and the stories wrapped amongst all that I do.
It’s many layered, and each of those layers is now a part of me
and my creations.
Growth is organic, it happens at a pace which is right for us. We have to feel bedded in, and nourished to thrive the best we can. @sconepalacegardenfair provides the perfect conditions. So grateful to have been there again this year.

I loved being back at Scone today for day 1 of @sconepalacegardenfair 2025! One of my favourite places, and so just love this event! A special feel to it all! The surroundings, the people the visitors, and allllll the dogs that visit also!

When the light hits just right… resting on the places where we shine the most. ✨
Perhaps we don’t always see the parts of us that shine? What a shame, I think, that we don’t see ourselves as others see us. Incandescent, and irradiating wonder.
We internalize. We overlook our true worth. The treasures that lie within. Also, the beauty that exists, wrapped up in all of who we are.
Layers and lifetimes, like the multitudes of twigs rested together in intricately delicate creation, a nest. Our trinkets nestled amongst. Our personalities, our laughter, our knowing looks, our friendships and our loved ones. The stories we tell, the love, the joy that we send out into the world.
We are more than just what we can even imagine to perceive of ourselves. It’s true.
This handtinted print, of my original artwork “All Those Shiny Things (A Magpie Stole From Me”) will be donning my display at @sconepalacegardenfair for tomorrow and Saturday.

My name is Jenna, I’m an artist & writer based in Fife, Scotland.
I create works to bring joy. The way I see (and imagine!) the world, placed upon paper, and then products! Much of my work is nature inspired, but also, I think, just ‘life’ inspired. What my mind seems to be settling on throughout my sunshine waking days, and also some of those moonlit nights.
As the blues still SHINE in the sunshine, so the yellows still SHINE in the dark...
A friend said to me last weekend, surely you must ALWAYS look up Jenna? By stature, well yes! But also in how I look at the world.
I do look to the world in a different way I think. Indeed another friend once said I think ‘outside the box’... and my Granny was famed for saying I was a ‘breath of fresh air!’ I remember her saying it too... with such love. I’m not always, I obviously KNOW that... but I TRY.

Bouquets and wedding days.
Nuptials. The swapping of vows… A love tied and hearts merged.
The flowers we hold on those days, bouquets and button holes, the table decorations! These are a special and particular glimpse of who we are. The blooms chosen, a mirror of that love, and what we stand for.
Ours were, a combination of agapanthus, yellow roses, crespedia, ferns and white daisies. Yellows, blues, greens and ivory whites. For me, the colours of our countryside world. The colours that speak of my husband and I.
Rendered in Japanese watercolour, graphite pencil, and fineliner ink, these bespoke commissions can capture memories of your big day, and of the love that will ever be shared. Enduring.

I take joy from a dandelion in bloom. Bright yellow on broken earth. I still always seem to notice the small things. The tiny details within our world, which may go unnoticed.
Turbulent times, give reason to notice them all the more. It’s how we cling to hope.
